Available Locations: Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio TX About The Role We are searching for a skilled Lead Sales Compensation Analyst to enhance our Finance & Business Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will support Cloudflare's Global Commissions Program & Strategy by collaborating closely with Sales Compensation Design, GTM Finance, and Sales Operations teams. What You'll Do Ensure precise and timely distribution of Compensation Plans, Incentive Statements, and commission payments for the Global Sales team. Act as a trusted ally to the Sales Team by addressing queries, clarifying policies, and managing disputes with a customer-centric approach. Facilitate collaboration across teams and manage the timely collection of essential data inputs, such as quotas and attainment statistics. Lead sales performance analytics to uncover actionable insights and improve visibility for leadership and stakeholders. Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support the setup, design, and enhancements within the Varicent ICM platform. Partner with the Sales Compensation Design team to assess proposed plan changes and ensure their accurate implementation. Create and enhance standard processes, documentation, and procedures to optimize commission-related workflows. Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: 5+ years in FP&A, Consulting, Sales Operations, Data Analytics, or Sales Compensation, preferably with experience in a technology growth environment. Detail-oriented and data-driven, with a knack for identifying discrepancies and validating complex calculations for optimal precision. Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, skilled in financial modeling, data analysis, and scenario planning. Solid understanding of the commission administrative process, including all aspects from plan document distribution to payment file preparation. Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong communication skills, capable of distilling complex information into actionable insights. A focus on operational efficiency, utilizing tools and automation for optimized processes. Capacity to multitask effectively in a dynamic, high-growth environment, maintaining attention to detail while keeping the broader perspective. Strong organizational skills and a proactive, results-oriented work ethic. Familiarity with the Varicent ICM tool is an added advantage.
