JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing nursing operations, including staff management, regulatory compliance, and patient care initiatives. This leader will play a key role of fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork across the nursing staff. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide leadership and direction to the nursing team, ensuring high quality, patient-centered care. Oversee staffing, scheduling, recruitments, and retention of nursing staff. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies, procedures, and regulations. Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures. Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and other healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes. Monitor quality assurance programs and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively. Mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff to support professional growth and retention.
