About the Role
We are actively seeking a dynamic Chief Oncology Officer to lead our new Oncology Service Line. In this pivotal role, you will be the accountable clinical executive for all oncology services, emphasizing both short- and long-term strategic planning. You will guide and inspire a dedicated team of physicians and care providers, ensuring excellence in clinical, operational, and financial aspects of the service line.
The ideal candidate will possess an MD, DO, or equivalent degree, successfully complete an accredited residency program, and hold a cancer-focused subspecialty fellowship with board certification. A medical license in the state of practice is essential.
Preferred qualifications include leadership training, demonstrated success in guiding clinicians through transformation, exceptional communication skills, an advanced degree in healthcare management, and a motivating personality. You should excel in juggling multiple priorities, be technically proficient, and possess outstanding relationship management and interpersonal skills.
