Position Overview: We are seeking licensed practical nurses and registered nurses for a float role covering clinics in the Wake Forest and Rolesville area. This is a full-time opportunity offering diverse clinical experiences in a dynamic environment. This role supports various clinic locations, ensuring continuity and high-quality patient care. You'll be working with a collaborative clinical team that values professionalism, accuracy, and compassion.
Qualifications - Licensed Practical Nurse I:
Current Practical Nurse license in North Carolina High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant science coursework preferred BCLS certification Ability to manage basic patient care tasks and assist with routine clinical procedures Familiarity with telephone triage, pediatric screenings, and EMR usage Willingness to travel locally for clinic coverage Comfortable with patient education and coordinating care under supervision Qualifications - Licensed Practical Nurse II:
All qualifications of LPN I, plus: Proven experience handling more complex patient care situations with autonomy Strong triage and communication skills Skilled in lab procedures and interpreting abnormal results Takes initiative in care coordination, patient education, and mentoring less experienced staff Ability to lead and support clinical peers as a team resource Demonstrates clinical judgment and efficient task management Qualifications - Registered Nurse I:
Current Registered Nurse license in North Carolina High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in a related science preferred BCLS certification Competency in standard clinical nursing duties including patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation Ability to support clinic flow and manage telephone triage under guidance Willingness to cross-train and cover weekends or additional clinics as needed Qualifications - Registered Nurse II:
All qualifications of RN I, plus: Advanced assessment and critical thinking skills Independent care planning for complex cases Effective mentorship and leadership capabilities Active involvement in staff training and clinical improvement initiatives High proficiency in lab interpretation, telephone triage, and care coordination Seen as a clinical "go-to " by team members
