Join a dedicated pediatric healthcare team as a Float Nurse, supporting clinics across the Raleigh and Wake Forest region. This full-time role provides the opportunity to care for patients across different sites, ensuring flexibility, collaboration, and consistency in delivering high-quality pediatric care. As a Float RN or LPN, you will support clinic operations, assist providers, and engage in direct patient care, including assessments, triage, lab work, and family education. This position is ideal for professionals who are adaptable, team-oriented, and passionate about making a difference in pediatric health.
Qualifications Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Level I Current LPN license in North Carolina. Current BCLS certification. High school diploma or GED; CLIA-approved science coursework preferred. Ability to deliver basic nursing care and assist with lab testing, triage, and administrative duties. Effective communication, time management, and basic pediatric clinical skills. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Level II
All LPN I qualifications plus: At least 6-12 months of consistent performance at LPN I level. Proven ability to manage complex patient needs with clinical accuracy and critical thinking. Experience training new staff, leading in triage and lab functions, and contributing to care coordination and clinic flow. High initiative and reliability as a team resource and mentor. Registered Nurse (RN) Level I
Current RN license in North Carolina. Current BCLS certification. Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing; high school diploma with approved science background accepted. Capable of performing pediatric assessments, executing care plans, and supporting provider workflows. Basic triage and lab testing skills with a patient-focused, team-based approach. Registered Nurse (RN) Level II
All RN I qualifications plus: Minimum 6-12 months of strong performance at the RN I level. Advanced clinical judgment and problem-solving skills in pediatric care. Leadership in patient education, staff support, and clinic process improvements. Active contributor to clinical initiatives, emergency response readiness, and cross-site support.
