We are seeking a mission-driven
Psychiatric Medical Director
to provide visionary leadership at our dedicated behavioral health and substance use facility in Mesa, Arizona . This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity for a physician who is committed to advancing integrated psychiatric care and supporting a high-performing clinical team. Key Responsibilities Oversee clinical operations and ensure excellence in patient care
Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals
Ensure regulatory compliance, including Title 36, detox protocols, and involuntary holds
Participate in the development and oversight of individualized treatment plans
Provide direct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing care
Participate in on-call coverage (phone-based only)
Foster a positive, team-oriented culture grounded in quality and compassion
Stay current through CME and professional development opportunities Qualifications MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
Active DEA license
Minimum 2 years of post-residency clinical practice
3+ years of leadership or medical director experience preferred
Strong understanding of Title 36, medical detox, and involuntary psychiatric care
Exceptional communication, team leadership, and decision-making skills
Passion for recovery-focused, trauma-informed care Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $255,537 - $309,200/year (based on experience)

Pay Details:
$255,000.00 to $355,000.00 per year
