Position Overview:
Partner with store leaders to deliver proactive HR support aligned to business goals.
Enhance the teammate experience across multiple retail locations.
Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and workforce planning.
Champion company culture and values by fostering an inclusive and respectful work environment.
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence for talent development, compensation, benefits, and DEI programs.
nalyze HR data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compliance with California labor laws and HR best practices.
Lead change management initiatives to increase engagement and retention.
Oversee headcount management and partner with recruitment teams to ensure timely staffing.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
Experience in multi-unit, high-volume retail environments. Strong knowledge of state and federal employment law. Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel regionally up to 50% for store visits, meetings, and events. Tactical, hands-on HR approach. Preferred Skills:
Bilingual in Spanish. HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP). Experience with unions and labor relations. Role Details:
Supports over 900 teammates across 100+ locations in Southern California. Individual contributor role partnering with 13 Area Managers. Remote work with required regional travel. Must live within the geographic region supported. Main office located in West Covina, CA.
