Junior Buyer

to support our purchasing operations and help ensure the smooth flow of materials to meet production and customer needs.

As a Junior Buyer, you will assist in managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting the supply chain team in maintaining accurate inventory and timely deliveries. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in placing and tracking purchase orders for assigned materials and components. Monitor inventory levels and help analyze demand to support purchasing decisions. Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery dates, and resolve basic issues. Collaborate with the operations team to support production schedules and customer orders. Perform transactional tasks such as reviewing order reports, validating lead times, and updating purchase order confirmations. Maintain accurate records in the ERP system (NetSuite), including delivery dates, costs, and part information. Help manage return material authorizations (RMAs) and coordinate with suppliers as needed. Support the creation of new part numbers and updates to cost and pricing data. Work with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice and purchase order discrepancies. Assist in sourcing and quoting parts under the guidance of the Purchasing Supervisor. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in procurement processes. Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic proficiency in Excel (e.g., sorting, filtering, basic formulas). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) is a plus. Coursework or a degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred. Experience:

1-2 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or administrative support role preferred. Internship or co-op experience in a supply chain environment is a plus. Work Location:
