Join our team as an Electrician Journeyman!
Do you have a passion for solving complex electrical problems and keeping high-powered systems running smoothly? Are you skilled in troubleshooting, repair, and installation in an industrial environment? If you're a licensed electrician ready to make an impact-this opportunity is for you!
What You'll Do: • Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems including motors, transformers, lighting, VFDs, switchgear, and control panels • Troubleshoot and repair high- and low-voltage electrical systems and automation equipment • Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, ammeters, infrared cameras, and megohm meters • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, single-line diagrams, and manuals • Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades to maximize uptime and performance • Work with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and relay logic systems to support automation and control functions • Support capital projects with new installations and infrastructure improvements • Ensure all work complies with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and company safety regulations • Document maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs thoroughly • Provide guidance and mentorship to electrical apprentices
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or heavy industry
Education & Licensing: • High school diploma or GED • Completion of a certified electrical apprenticeship program • Valid journeyman electrician license or certification
Skills: • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams • Knowledge of VFDs, PLCs, and industrial automation systems • Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA standards • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Mindset:
Safety-first attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
