Our client is seeking a Contractor to provide the following services: Coordinator role plays a critical role in ensuring workplace safety and product reliability by facilitating and managing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEAs) and Process Hazzard Assessments (PHAs).

This position involves identifying potential hazards, assessing risks, and developing and implementing measures to prevent accidents, injuries, and failures. In addition, the position ensures that risk documents align with supporting environmental health and safety documents (policies and procedures)

Tasks:

Lead and facilitate JHA sessions to identify and analyze potential hazards associated with specific job tasks. Lead and facilitate FMEA sessions to analyze potential equipment failure modes and their effects on products or processes. Develop and implement hazard control measures based on the hierarchy of controls (elimination, substitution, engineering controls, administrative controls, and PPE). Ensure that JHAs and FMEAs are properly documented, reviewed, and updated as needed. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide training and mentorship to employees on risk management techniques, JHA, and FMEA methodologies. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions. Required skills and qualifications:

Ensure site specific EHS programs, policies, and procedures aligned with Risk Documents. Serve as the primary contact for implementing JHA/FMEAs Support the training of employees on JHA/FMEAs expectations Key Qualifications and Skills:

Background in EHS, engineering or quality assurance Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 4 to 5 years' experience developing JHA/FMEAs Experience with process improvement methods such as Six Sigma Certifications in quality management, such as LEAN or Six Sigma Effective communication and attention to detail 5 to 10 Years Experian in occupational safety or environmental science Experience in a Lab, manufacturing or industrial environment Several years of experience in EHS or environmental programs, often in manufacturing, production, or service operations setting. Experience in a large, complex environment may be desired.
