Workplace Learning Coordination

Develop and manage workplace learning programs, including internships, apprenticeships, job shadowing, and career exploration opportunities for students.

Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses, industries, and community organizations to create authentic work-based learning experiences.

Collaborate with school counselors, career and technical education (CTE) staff, and teachers to integrate workplace learning into the academic curriculum.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of workplace learning programs, ensuring alignment with student career goals and industry needs.

Coordinate professional development for educators on integrating career readiness into classroom instruction.

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to work-based learning, including safety and labor laws.

Promote equity and access in workplace learning opportunities for all students, including underrepresented groups.

Curriculum Development and Leadership

Lead the development, review, and revision of a cohesive, standards-aligned K-12 curriculum across all subject areas.

Collaborate with teachers, department chairs, and administrators to ensure curriculum reflects best practices, cultural responsiveness, and student needs.

Oversee the selection and adoption of instructional materials, ensuring alignment with district goals and state standards.

Analyze student performance data to inform curriculum adjustments and instructional strategies.

Facilitate professional learning communities (PLCs) to support teachers in implementing curriculum effectively.

Stay current on educational trends, research, and state requirements to guide curriculum innovation.

Ensure curriculum and instructional practices promote inclusivity, diversity, and accessibility for all learners.

Prepare and present curriculum reports and recommendations to the school board and district leadership.

Masters Degree or Higher in Educational Leadership

Iowa Administrators License

Minimum of 5 Years Teaching Experience
