JOB OVERVIEW: Are you a detail-focused professional with a passion for estimating and a background in commercial flooring or construction? Join our Real Floors Commercial division, where you'll work closely with a supportive team to help Project Managers secure successful project bids and installations. This is a full time position in Marietta, GA.

With 30 years in the industry, RFCI is one of the largest flooring contractors in the Southeast and in the country. This experience allows RFCI to work with local, regional and national General Contractors on a wide variety of projects. Our dedication to continued education and embracing the latest technology available in the market allows RFCI to retain its place as an industry leader. We have a proven track record that includes a vast portfolio of multi-family and senior assisted-living projects as well as holding the status of national flooring vendor for retail/big-box outlets, completing projects throughout the country.
Job Summary:
We seek a team-oriented, detail-focused Senior Estimating professional with experience in the commercial flooring (preferred) or commercial construction industry. The ideal candidate is passionate and detail oriented, with strong time management skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with other members of the team in supporting Project Managers with the bid process and project flooring installation. He/she is energized by a fast-paced environment.
Duties/Responsibilities: Analyze blueprints, specs, and plans to build accurate project estimates Prepare detailed material and cost estimates for commercial flooring projects Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors for scope clarity Manage multiple estimates concurrently from kickoff through completion Provide internal support and customer consultation throughout the bid process Maintain organized records of all project documentation and correspondence Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; advanced education a plus Prior estimating experience in commercial flooring or construction required Strong blueprint reading, material take-off, and plan interpretation skills Knowledge of flooring materials, installation methods, and industry standards Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and estimating software (RFMS MEASURE a plus) Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
