Job Responsibilities Design Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs thoroughly and create individualized treatment strategies that empower them to accomplish their goals Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Employ therapeutic methods rooted in research to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and engagement in daily activities Partner with Multidisciplinary Teams: Forge strong collaborations with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and care teams to provide comprehensive healthcare Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on effective therapy techniques that facilitate ongoing progress at home Track and Document Patient Progress: Continuously monitor outcomes and adapt therapies accordingly, ensuring patients are on the right path Qualifications

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university Continuous education and additional certifications are encouraged and supported Licenses and Certifications

Active

Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)

license required NBCOT

(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory Required Skills
