Pay Information $2,110 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: New York license is required in hand Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Candidates must be more than 75 miles from the facility Description: MUST HAVE NY LICENSE IN HAND. Specialty: ER RN Shift: 3x12 NIGHTS 19:00 - 07:00. Weekend: Every other weekend. First-time travelers are accepted. General Emergency Department experience is required. Experience in management of dysrhythmias is essential. Skills in managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure are required. Candidates must be able to obtain a 12-lead EKG. Arterial line management experience is necessary. Blood product administration skills are required. Candidates should have experience with central line care and management. Phlebotomy skills are necessary. Candidates must be able to start IVs and provide continuous IV sedation. Experience with emergency medications and IV vasopressors is required. Procedural sedation administration experience is necessary. Candidates should have experience with CVA, ortho-trauma, and abdominal pain. Skills in asthma management are required. Candidates must be able to identify and report abuse. Experience managing mental and behavioral health conditions is essential. Skills in handling acute psychosis and drug overdose are necessary. Candidates must have experience managing violent behavior. Knowledge of psychiatric hold procedures is required. Experience with suicidal patients and chest tube insertion/management is required. Candidates should have skills in CPAP/BiPAP and interpretation of ABGs. Intubation skills are necessary. Experience working with ventilated patients is required. Familiarity with isolation precautions is essential. Candidates must be able to perform triage.
