Carroll Hospital, part of the LifeBridge Health system, is seeking experienced Emergency Room RNs for a 14-week night shift assignment. This Level II Trauma Center sees an average of 120 visits per day in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Travelers must be confident in their dysrhythmia recognition and management and will be required to pass an onsite
Advanced Facility Dysrhythmia Exam
prior to starting. Note:
First-time travelers will
not
be considered. Certifications & Requirements:
Licensure:
Active MD RN License or Compact License - Required Experience:
Minimum
3 years
recent ER experience - Required EKG proficiency - Required (Onsite test includes heart blocks, pacing, lethal rhythms, and interventions) Travel experience - Required
Certifications (all required):
BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) PALS (AHA) NIHSS CPI - Preferred TNCC - Preferred

Pediatric Emergency Care: Head injury, seizures, respiratory infections Sickle cell crisis, UTIs, behavioral/mental health Poison ingestion, burns, infections, asthma Psychiatric Emergencies: Acute psychosis, overdose, violent behavior Suicidal patients, psych holds IV Therapy/Phlebotomy: IV starts, phlebotomy Blood administration, central line care (preferred) Respiratory & Critical Care: Intubation, ventilated patients Chest tube management, CPAP/BiPAP ABG interpretation (preferred) IV sedation, vasopressors, emergency meds Procedural sedation Cardiac & Neuro: CVA (Stroke), interpretation of dysrhythmias Management of lethal arrhythmias and interventions Multisystem organ failure management 12-lead EKG Orthopedics & Trauma: Splinting and orthopedic trauma (preferred) Gunshot wounds, traumatic amputations (preferred) Facility / Unit Details:
