Job Title: Quality Engineer Job Description
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing product quality by conducting detailed analyses of customer returned parts and utilizing findings to drive Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) improvements. You will be instrumental in preventing internal recurring failures and reducing risks through root cause analysis, and you will work on validating customer RMAs to enhance manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
Conduct detailed analysis of customer returned parts to drive CAPA improvements.
Perform root cause analysis to prevent internal recurring failures and reduce risks.
Validate customer RMAs and implement actions to improve manufacturing processes.
Supervise a team of 6 in the final inspection department, providing guidance, coaching, and training as needed.
Represent the Quality Assurance team in the material review board (MRB) for internal rejections.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in AS9102 and aerospace standards.
Strong understanding of root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Experience with first article inspections (FAI) and audits.
Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in overseeing connector line quality engineering.
Proven track record in material review board (MRB) processes.
Work Environment
The position involves working closely with the final inspection department and collaborating with various teams to ensure quality standards are met. The role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to guide a team in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. You will be expected to wear appropriate attire suitable for a manufacturing setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
