Your Role and Responsibilities Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's specific needs and formulate personalized therapeutic strategies to help them achieve their recovery goals. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Utilize evidence-based interventions to bolster patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living abilities. Collaborate with Comprehensive Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals including OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their family members on therapeutic techniques and strategies to facilitate ongoing improvement outside of the clinic. Track Progress and Documentation: Meticulously document clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on their path to recovery. Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Encouraging ongoing education and training through post-graduate certifications. Licenses and Certifications
Valid
Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
license required. NBCOT
(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must. Essential Skills
