Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

Join a leading company in robotic automation and material handling equipment as a Mechanical Assembler. You will work on innovative solutions for the Food and Beverage and Chemical industries, partnering with renowned names such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and Nestle.

Responsibilities

Use machine drawings, assembly drawings, control schematics, and relevant bills of materials to proficiently build according to drawings and solve problems as needed.

Engage in the reduction and elimination of non-value-added work throughout the organization.

Utilize hand tools proficiently for tasks including structural assembly, mechanical drive assembly, fluid control assembly, guard and cover assembly, mechanical assembly, and simple electrical assembly. Ensure all work represents quality workmanship, neatness, and acceptable efficiencies.

Complete quality assurance checks for the Blue Books.

Provide accurate documentation including labor reporting, material issue/returns, material moves, and material scrap reports.

Execute inventory re-ordering policies including 'Kanban'.

Prepare equipment for shipment, including machine teardown.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in mechanical assembly and the use of hand tools.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and machine drawings.

Experience with tape measures, power tools, and general assembly tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in assembly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $23.50/hr.
