Manufacturing Engineer

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will: Understand assembly processes and manufacturing practices. Utilize automation and lean manufacturing principles to reduce cycle time and waste elimination Conceptualizes, develops, and initiates fixturing and tooling process improvements Manages projects from concept and design through capital appropriation requests to qualification within project schedule and budget. Support Automation which includes Tube bending and tube cutting processes Support and improve on many manual processes with the possibility of automating! Individual will utilize automation and lean manufacturing principles to reduce cycle time and waste elimination Individual must be proficient in both verbal and computer skills to effectively communicate to all plant personnel, Engineering, Product Planning, and external suppliers Develops documentation for use by operators and maintenance technicians to perform their duties and assist them in troubleshooting Self-initiates corrective actions for quality concerns based on effective problem-solving skills and develop temporary and permanent solutions to manufacturing issues Comply with all required safety and regulatory requirements Individual will utilize AutoCAD, Inventor and/or 3D Software for electrical / mechanical design and repair Proficient in both verbal and computer skills to effectively communicate to plant personnel, Engineering, Project Planning and external suppliers Required Education, Skills and Experiences: Bachelor Degree in Engineering. (Co-Op Experience will be in consideration). Preferred Education Skills and Experiences: 5 - 7 years of relevant experience Basic programming experience
