Manufacturing Engineer

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
- Understand assembly processes and manufacturing practices.
- Utilize automation and lean manufacturing principles to reduce cycle time and waste elimination
- Conceptualizes, develops, and initiates fixturing and tooling process improvements
- Manages projects from concept and design through capital appropriation requests to qualification within project schedule and budget.
- Support Automation which includes Tube bending and tube cutting processes
- Support and improve on many manual processes with the possibility of automating!
- Individual will utilize automation and lean manufacturing principles to reduce cycle time and waste elimination
- Individual must be proficient in both verbal and computer skills to effectively communicate to all plant personnel, Engineering, Product Planning, and external suppliers
- Develops documentation for use by operators and maintenance technicians to perform their duties and assist them in troubleshooting
- Self-initiates corrective actions for quality concerns based on effective problem-solving skills and develop temporary and permanent solutions to manufacturing issues
- Comply with all required safety and regulatory requirements
- Individual will utilize AutoCAD, Inventor and/or 3D Software for electrical / mechanical design and repair
- Proficient in both verbal and computer skills to effectively communicate to plant personnel, Engineering, Project Planning and external suppliers
Required Education, Skills and Experiences:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering. (Co-Op Experience will be in consideration).
Preferred Education Skills and Experiences:
- 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
- Basic programming experience
