Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a

Land Development Engineer

to oversee and execute

site planning, design, and infrastructure development

for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role involves

civil engineering expertise , regulatory compliance, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure efficient and sustainable land development. Key Responsibilities:

Design and oversee

site development plans , including

grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway infrastructure . Conduct

feasibility studies

and analyze

environmental impact

for land development projects. Prepare and review

engineering drawings, reports, and specifications

in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Coordinate with

municipal agencies, contractors, and developers

to ensure project approvals and compliance. Perform

stormwater management analysis

and design

erosion control measures . Utilize

utoCAD Civil 3D

and other engineering software for site design and modeling. ssist in

permitting processes , including zoning, land use, and environmental regulations. Provide technical guidance and support during

construction phases , ensuring adherence to engineering standards. Collaborate with

surveyors, architects, and planners

to optimize land use and infrastructure efficiency. Conduct

cost estimation and budgeting

for land development projects. Must-Have:

Bachelor's degree

in

Civil Engineering

or a related field. 3-7 years

of experience in

land development engineering . Proficiency in

utoCAD Civil 3D

and other engineering design tools. Strong knowledge of

stormwater management, grading, and utility design . Experience with

zoning regulations, permitting, and environmental compliance . Excellent

problem-solving and project management skills . Strong

communication and collaboration abilities

with stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications:

Professional Engineer (PE) license

or

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification . Experience in

residential, commercial, or industrial land development projects . Familiarity with

GIS mapping and hydrology modeling software . Knowledge of

local and federal land use regulations .
