As an engineer with Weaver Consultants Group, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplined team with opportunities to substantively contribute to a broad variety of projects. We are seeking independent and highly self-motivated engineers to join our team!
Core Responsibilities Develop detailed computer models and/or grading plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D. This includes the ability to create, modify, and manipulate surfaces, create and modify 3D lines, feature lines, and COGO points, and develop cross sections and profiles. Support multiple project managers in a wide variety of projects, including:
Development of engineering construction plans and bid documents for grading, drainage systems, stormwater management systems, erosion and sediment control plans, cell construction, final cover construction, infrastructure construction, liner and leachate collection systems, landfill gas collection systems, and utility installation projects.
Demonstrate a positive work ethic, drive, and independence by contributing around 45 hours per week on average to meet project deadline and budget expectations. Prepare permit applications, permit modifications, technical reports, and CQA reports for federal, state, and local agencies. Analyze technical data and preparing technical reports. Site development planning and airspace management. Cost estimating for construction and life of site planning. Job Requirements
Bachelors or Masters in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering (ABET Accredited). EIT certification or have the ability to obtain certification within six months of employment. Exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Word Ability to analyze and create detailed 3D CAD models. Excellent verbal and written communication. Positive attitude and an impressive work ethic. Passion and demonstrative drive to achieve goals. Clear sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines. Ability to apply technical skills to meet project demands and solve problems for our clients. Attention to details and ability to contribute to a positive work environment. Ability to balance workloads and schedules for multiple projects concurrently. Develop detailed designs in civil and environmental-related engineering fields. Work well as an independent but accountable team member. Ability to excel and adapt in a fast-paced, client service-driven environment. Benefits
