Job Description

Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes across departments, product lines, or facilities. Develop and implement standardized work instructions, SOPs, and best practices to ensure consistency across operations. Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or quality issues and lead corrective action initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production, assembly, and testing operations. Provide hands-on technical guidance and training to manufacturing teams. Troubleshoot issues in real time and implement sustainable solutions to minimize downtime and defects. Work with product design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of new products. Develop scalable processes and workflows to support successful product launches across locations. Support quality engineering efforts to ensure products meet internal and external standards. Participate in or lead continuous improvement projects involving Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or Kaizen methodologies. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to maintain product and process quality. Recommend and implement tools, jigs, fixtures, and automation to improve efficiency and safety. Oversee proper maintenance, calibration, and utilization of manufacturing equipment. Research and integrate emerging technologies to enhance production capabilities. The Successful Applicant

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering, ideally in a multi-site or enterprise-wide capacity. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies is preferred. Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, process optimization, and quality systems. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX, AutoCAD). Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and cross-functional production planning. Effective communicator with the ability to train, lead, and collaborate across departments. Project management skills and experience leading complex improvement initiatives. Knowledge of relevant safety and compliance standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO, FDA, etc.). Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, data visualization, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI). What's on Offer
