We’re seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager who will play a critical role in ensuring our facilities, operations, and products meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and sustainability. Responsibilities
Ensure company facilities, operations, products, and services meet
EPA, OSHA, DOT, DEA
and other regulatory requirements. Develop and implement strategies to integrate EH&S into daily business processes and culture. Participate in the Global EHS Steering Team, coordinating with affiliates on EHS and risk management programs. Oversee hazardous materials transportation, product labeling, and safety data sheet management. Lead and coordinate emergency response plans and significant incident management. Build and deliver impactful training programs that go beyond regulatory minimums. Assess operational changes for compliance impact and develop appropriate programs. Represent the company externally with customers, regulators, trade associations, and partners. Report directly to senior leadership, driving accountability and transparency. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering, Chemistry, or related field . 7+ years
in an EHS role within chemical manufacturing or foundry industries required. Experience managing regulatory compliance challenges with
EPA, DEA, OSHA, DOT
required. Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Experienced in creating safety programs and delivering training to ensure compliance and safe work practices. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and EHS-related software. Professional certifications (PE, CIH, CSP, CHMM, Six Sigma Green Belt) desired. Ability to travel domestically and internationally (passport and driver’s license required). Yes. Work Environment
The work environment is varied and includes office work, both virtual and in-person meetings, as well as visits to industrial production facilities, heavy industrial customer sites, and chemical product manufacturing plants in the U.S. and abroad. While at industrial sites, the role involves frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and loud noise. Appropriate PPE such as gloves, respirator, hard hat, safety glasses, and safety boots must be worn as required. Inability to work safely around chemicals or use PPE may be disqualifying. Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to work in confined spaces, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders and stairways, and work at heights. Extended periods of sitting and standing are expected. The role also requires being fit for a respirator and other PPE. Work may occasionally take place in hot or cold weather conditions. Travel Requirements
Travel for this role is variable (up to 20%) and includes frequent day and overnight trips to our U.S. plant locations, multi-day domestic travel to customer locations, and occasional overseas travel. Why Join Us?
