Semiconductor Field Engineer

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Field Engineer is responsible for supporting field operations by facilitating coordination between engineering, construction, procurement, and project management functions. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical aptitude, and a solution-oriented mindset to assist in successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain and manage jobsite documentation (RFIs, ASIs, submittals, QA/QC logs, redlines, and as-builts). Coordinate timely deliveries of tools, equipment, and materials to align with the installation schedule. Assist with subcontractor and vendor coordination to ensure smooth execution on-site. Draft and manage purchase orders and subcontracts. Attend and document project meetings; track open items and follow-ups. Support schedule development, weekly look-aheads, and project task tracking. Monitor and report on craft productivity and labor performance. Assist in preparing estimates and budgets for change orders and field-directed work. Promote and ensure adherence to CAM's Zero Harm safety culture. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. 2-4 years of experience in field engineering, construction, or project coordination; experience in semiconductor or tool install environments is a strong asset. 2-4 years of experience using CAD software for viewing and editing 3D model drawings. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project); experience with scheduling or document control tools preferred. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and installation specifications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Adaptable, collaborative, and capable of working under pressure in a dynamic environment. Working Conditions:
Frequent time spent on active construction sites. Must be able to:
Sit, talk, hear, and use hands to handle or feel Occasionally reach, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl Occasionally lift and move up to 20 pounds Work in variable weather conditions and environments with moderate to high noise levels
