Job Responsibilities Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design tailored therapy approaches that facilitate the achievement of functional objectives. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-supported interventions to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and day-to-day activities. Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver thorough and integrated care. Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapeutic methods to encourage progress in their homes. Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor clinical results and modify treatments accordingly to keep patients on their path to recovery. Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from a nationally accredited program Encouragement for ongoing education and advanced certifications Licenses and Certifications

Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
licensure Required certification from the
NBCOT
