Job Responsibilities Create Tailored Therapy Approaches: Assess each patient's needs and design individualized treatment plans to help them reach their functional aspirations Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living functions Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Partner closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, holistic patient care Educate Patients and Families: Train patients and caregivers in therapeutic methods to encourage continued progress at home Track and Report Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track Education

Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported Certifications

Active

Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)

license NBCOT

(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory Skills
