Reports To: Director of Engineering

Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer. He/she will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience.

Will support industrial plant power, controls, and automation systems.

Will travel within the US and occasionally overseas to clients and facilities.

Power transmission, full electrical product cycle, power control and protection systems.

Setup of GE Multilink Protective Relays or equivalent for medium voltage (5kV) feeder, transformer, and motor protection.

Maintenance of Electrical systems.

Electrical power distribution, MCC, controls, and instrumentation.

Power and control schematics development.

Hardware specification and control panel design.

Electronic device configuration, PLC program development, HMI configuration.

Preparation of equipment specifications, cable list, I/O List.

Development of functional description, load list, one-line diagram, device location, grounding, and lighting plans.

Preparation of Electrical Design Criteria for all projects; attend all kickoff meetings; assist in proposal preparation and CAPEX for electrical/controls.

Maintain and update database/deliverables from earlier projects and add to as needed.

Near and long-term Department planning.

Establish Goals and Programs for each Department Personnel.

Maintaining Electrical Department Knowledge Database.

Travel to Construction Sites to Assist with Systems' Commissioning.

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

Five years experience in Electric power distribution & grounding, design, and operation of low and medium Voltage Systems in heavy process industries

Familiarity with latest U.S electrical codes and safety requirements, including NEC code and IEEE standards.

Safety guidelines related to industrial plant power distribution.

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM Power Tools.

Proficient in the design of industrial control and automation systems.

Technical excellence and in-depth understanding of good engineering practices.

Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to coordinate work with staff, clients, and contractors.

Strong organizational skills to manage time and resources efficiently and effectively.

Strong attention to detail and need for high level of accuracy.

Education and License Required

No sponsorship available- Must be eligible to work in the USA.

M.S in Electrical Engineering preferred or B.S. with relevant applicable experience will be considered.

P.E. registration preferred.
