Must work at least one holiday (eve and day) Estimated Weekly Salary:
$2100-$2250 Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending license accepted; must be active before start) Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience in a hospital or clinical setting Previous charge nurse experience required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, NIHSS, AWHONN Advanced/Intermediate, FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) Experience with Cerner electronic charting system preferred Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered) Must pass on-site drug screening Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients, including triage, antepartum, labor, circulating, and transition (no postpartum) Assist with high-risk deliveries, C-sections, and multiple births Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and manage IVs and infusion pumps Monitor fetal heart rates using EFM and IUPC Support breastfeeding, lactation, and provide patient education Respond to obstetric emergencies, including hemorrhage and abnormal fetal heart rate patterns Float to antepartum unit as needed Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
