Description Assess patients in inpatient or outpatient contexts and craft personalized treatment plans to fit their unique needs Implement physical therapy interventions that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function Work in tandem with nurses, physicians, case workers, and fellow rehab specialists to maximize positive outcomes Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment goals, discharge strategies, and home exercise routines Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress, adhering to facility and regulatory standards Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to foster coordinated patient care Education

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution Certifications

Current state licensure as a

Physical Therapist CPR certification is preferred Additional specialized certifications (e.g., in neurology, geriatrics) are advantageous but not mandatory Skills
