Description Assess patients in either an inpatient or outpatient environment and develop tailored treatment protocols Implement physical therapy interventions that enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall function Work together with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge procedures, and at-home exercises Keep accurate records of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress while adhering to facility and regulatory standards Engage in interdisciplinary care team meetings and discussions to maintain coordinated care Education

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent credential from an accredited institution Certifications

State licensure as a

Physical Therapist CPR certification preferred Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory Skills

Prior experience is significantly preferred Capable of treating patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities Adept at utilizing digital documentation and clinical record systems Benefits
