JOB SUMMARY:

The Engineering Supervisor will lead and manage the engineering department of an injection molding plant, ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and high-quality production. This role is responsible for driving process standardization, continuous improvement, and safety compliance while supporting new project development and maintaining a skilled and motivated team. The supervisor will collaborate closely with production and other departments to meet performance targets and deliver customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and manage the annual operational plan and budget for the engineering department, ensuring effective cost control. Plan and coordinate annual work schedules and activities, achieving productivity and quality performance indicators. Revise, train, and implement standardized flowcharts, documents, forms, and procedures to ensure process consistency. Oversee the timely delivery of trial and mass production orders, managing costs, processes, and quality standards. Organize and conduct training programs related to injection molding technology, mold technology, and equipment maintenance. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and improve operational workflows. Participate in early-stage project planning, trial production, and mass production ramp-up to ensure successful new product launches. Collaborate in the customization, optimization, and implementation of MES systems and other IT tools within the plant. Manage and develop engineering personnel, maintaining a robust talent pool and fostering team growth. Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with workshop safety procedures. Support parallel departments as needed and perform additional tasks assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS:

Diploma or higher degree from a vocational college or related institution. Minimum 3 years of experience in injection molding engineering in a supervisory or higher-level role. Proficiency in operating injection molding machines including horizontal, vertical, and two-color types. Certified Internal Auditor for IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards, highly desired. Skilled in Microsoft Office and familiar with CAD (e.g., PROE) design software. Experience managing workshop operations and production workflows. Strong communication, coordination, and team leadership skills. Commitment to fostering a positive, safe, and collaborative work environment.
