KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

PPAP/ validation FAIR Continuous Improvement Advance Product Quality Planning Customer Complaints/ CAPA's Internal QMS Audits/ Customer Audits KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist Sr. Quality Engineer with maintenance and continuous improvement of the QMS at Port Richey, Brooksville, and Florida Finishing facilities, to ensure appropriate QMS is updated to comply with newly released ISO standards. Assist with internal audits at Port Richey, Brooksville, and Florida Finishing facilities in compliance with ISO standards or NADCAP standard at Florida Finishing. Assist with driving continuous improvement strategies with focus on process improvements and the QMS. Facilitate Advanced Product Quality Planning techniques to accomplish organizational product quality levels, utilizing company metrics and visual aids to heighten employee awareness downstream. Interface with Program Managers, Engineering and Operations within team environment to ensure transfer to Production of new products are in accordance with approved data. Mentor and Support the Quality Technician, First Article Inspectors and Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the QMS. Oversee Quality Department interface with customer assigned to designated Program Managers related to all customer requirements; such as, PPAP's, Validations (IQ, OQ, PQ), complaints, SCAR's, CAR's, and product quality requirements. Support and Mentor team members performing product inspection activities, FAI's, PPAP's, Validation's, In-Process, and final inspections. Review Customer Engineering part drawing for new products and drawing revisions, ensuring translation of all customer requirements into QMS. LMA RESPONSIBILITIES:

4yr degree in Engineering or Technical discipline; or combination of education and experience Minimum of 2 years experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer in a Manufacturing Environment or Equivalent role in Quality function. American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is preferred. Self-starter with the ability to motivate others. Leader and mentor who is able to make decisions when required. Good written and oral communication skills. Experienced in good manufacturing practices and quality initiatives and programs. In-depth experience with QMS systems including ISO 13485/ AS9100. Ability to develop and maintain a team oriented work environment. Strong working knowledge of injection molding processes. Demonstrated experience at implementing continuous improvement, lean or other process improvement techniques. Strategic thinker with experience in statistical analysis and identifying trends through data. Travel to other worksites or customer locations: 20% (Must have a personal vehicle with valid driver license) Limited physical effort, able to carry at least 30lbs Duties are usually performed seated. Must be able to sit and type for long periods; bending, reaching, pushing, pulling
