1099 Contract (October 2025 - February 2026, onsite, day shift) STS Engineering Solutions is hiring an Aircraft Records Data Migration Specialist in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is a contract role working directly with our customer near Tulsa International Airport to support their data migration from TRAX to Maintenix (Mxi). If you have expertise in data migration, airline operations, and aviation maintenance systems, this is an excellent opportunity to make an impact with a leading technical services provider. Position Overview The Aircraft Records Data Migration Specialist ensures compliance with regulatory and company requirements related to aircraft, engine, and component records. The role is critical in supporting a seamless migration of maintenance records from TRAX to Maintenix. The contract is anticipated to run from October 2025 through February 2026, with a 40-hour workweek, though hours may vary depending on customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Serve as liaison between the customer's IT data migration team and the airline's business units
Gather, prepare, and validate data for migration from TRAX to Maintenix
Identify anomalies or missing data and collaborate with business leaders to resolve issues
Validate upload document structures to ensure successful migration
Log and track assigned tasks in designated workspaces
Create and distribute status reports as needed
Support internal and customer meetings
Perform additional data migration-related functions as required by the customer
Qualifications & Experience Required: High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 of the following:
Expertise in Maintenix and/or TRAX
Knowledge of Part 121 and/or Part 135 airline operations
Data migration experience (airline-related preferred)
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and data management applications
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
Ability to work at a computer for up to 10 hours per day
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web-based applications, SharePoint, and file management
Ability to perform basic mathematical equations
Willingness and ability to travel as required
Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work and comply with confidentiality requirements
Preferred: Higher education degree in aviation or data management
FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant licenses
Experience in aircraft records and data management
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for records retention and maintenance
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
Familiarity with PowerBI, SmartSheet, Adobe Pro, and other Microsoft Office applications
