We are transitioning to a modern, scalable platform for both front-end and back-end systems. Position: E-Commerce Solutions Architect & Project Lead

We are seeking an experienced project manager with expertise in e-commerce solutions to oversee the development of custom, high-impact web solutions and to lead the hiring and management of key team members.

Responsibilities

Lead the Website Rebuild : Oversee the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of a new e-commerce website, replacing our legacy system.

Team Hiring and Management : Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of Front-End Developers, Back-End Developers, UI/UX Designers, and additional UI/UX Designers to ensure cohesive project execution.

Platform Selection : Guide the selection and implementation of modern front-end and back-end platforms (e.g., React, Vue.js, Node.js, or similar) in collaboration with stakeholders.

Project Management : Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and seamless coordination with in-house and global outsourced developers.

Custom Solution Development : Drive the creation of scalable, maintainable code for front-end and back-end components, tailored to our unique operational needs.

Optimization : Ensure the website is optimized for performance, security, and SEO.

Integration : Oversee the integration of third-party APIs, payment gateways, and e-commerce functionalities.

Quality Assurance : Lead testing and debugging efforts to deliver a high-quality user experience.

Documentation : Document code, processes, and project decisions for future scalability and maintenance.

Post-Launch Support : Provide ongoing support and implement updates after launch.

Requirements

Experience : 8+ years in project management for e-commerce website development, with a proven track record of delivering custom solutions.

Team Leadership : Demonstrated experience in hiring, managing, and mentoring Front-End Developers, Back-End Developers, UI/UX Designers, and other technical staff across in-house and remote teams.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).

Strong back-end development experience (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails).

Expertise in database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or custom solutions).

Knowledge of RESTful APIs, payment gateways, and third-party integrations.

Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Project Management : Proven ability to manage complex projects with cross-functional and remote teams across multiple time zones.

Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills to resolve technical and logistical challenges.

Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder and team coordination.

Legacy System Migration : Experience transitioning legacy systems to modern platforms.

Cloud Platforms : Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
