and
commercial interior fit-outs
throughout the five boroughs. Project sizes typically range from
$5M to $180M , and the company is known for delivering complex builds on aggressive timelines without compromising quality.
Job Description
Develop full quantity takeoffs and detailed estimates across multiple CSI divisions Analyze subcontractor bids and scopes; manage subcontractor outreach and pricing Lead bid coordination efforts and ensure timely submission of proposals Evaluate construction documents and identify cost-saving or risk-related opportunities Partner with project teams and clients to support budgeting and design development phases Assist in value engineering exercises and provide pricing for design changes as needed Stay up-to-date on market pricing, material trends, and trade partner capabilities MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
5+ years of experience in estimating for a commercial general contractor Strong familiarity with
commercial interiors and ground-up construction in NYC Proficient in Microsoft Excel, On-Screen Takeoff, and Procore (or similar platforms) Deep understanding of local trade costs and construction sequencing Strong communication and negotiation skills with vendors and subcontractors Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment What's on Offer
