We’re looking for a

Senior Electric Distribution Engineer

who’s ready to step into a dynamic role supporting electric utility distribution projects that keep communities connected and power flowing. Compensation

$120,000 to $150,000 depending on your skills and years of experience

What You’ll Do

Lead the design and development of

overhead and underground electric distribution facilities

for projects such as voltage conversions, feeder extensions, automation upgrades, and DG interconnections. Interpret and apply

client standards and safety regulations

to generate and revise engineering documentation. Serve as a subject matter expert in the

owner’s engineer

role—reviewing, refining, and validating distribution design deliverables. Coordinate with internal teams and clients to

manage project schedules , ensure QA/QC compliance, and drive on-time delivery across multiple active projects. Collaborate with vendors to review

equipment specifications

and help develop construction standards and design criteria. Provide

construction planning and support , ensuring designs are executable and aligned with field realities. Evaluate designs for

regulatory and planning compliance , identifying opportunities for improvement or innovation. Take initiative to support evolving client needs and business priorities. What You Bring

Solid experience with

NESC

and applicable codes; deep understanding of utility distribution systems. Strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate complex data sets and engineering documentation. Familiarity with

distribution design software/tools

such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PLS-CADD, O-Calc (preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, Adobe Acrobat, and collaborative tools (Teams, Outlook). Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work independently and on cross-functional teams. Attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in

Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering

field. 7+ years

of relevant experience in utility, consulting, or engineering roles. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license

required or ability to obtain on an expedited path. Work Environment & Physical Demands

Primarily office-based with regular computer use and team/client interaction. Occasional movement within the office to access resources. Requires clear communication skills and the ability to exchange technical and project-related information accurately.
