Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Main Operating Room team. This role involves providing care for a diverse range of patients undergoing various surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Details
Schedule: D/E/N Rotating Shift Schedules Every Other Weekend (EOW) Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs Key Responsibilities
The Operating Room Registered Nurse will:
Administer moderate sedation to patients in the OR. Provide high-quality nursing care for a variety of surgical specialties including:
Orthopedics General Surgery Plastics Urology Cardiac Neuro Vascular Ophthalmic Gynecology (GYN) Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Thoracic Oral-Maxillofacial Trauma (Level 1 Trauma Center) Utilize advanced surgical equipment, including two Davinci robots for various procedures. Assist in the transplant program involving liver, kidney, and heart transplants.
Job Requirements
RN License:
Must possess a valid New York RN License. Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of OR experience, preferably in a Level 1 trauma center. Moderate Sedation Experience:

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Desired Skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with surgical and clinical teams. Additional Information
This position offers guaranteed hours with a contract of 89 weeks.
