Locum tenens (Travel nursing contract) Shift:
12-hour nights (7:00pm - 7:00am), weekends as needed, first to float Guaranteed Hours:
36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay:
$2240-$2400 Contract Length:
13 weeks (Start: 09/07/2025 - End: 12/07/2025) Orientation:
1 shift in each area (Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, LD OR) Scrubs Provided Qualifications - Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience in an acute care hospital Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho or compact state Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), STABLE Certification, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Proficient in LDR, circulating in the OR, and titrating Pitocin and insulin drips Ability to float to Antepartum, Mother Baby, and other clinical units as needed Epic EMR experience preferred Responsibilities - L&D RN Nursing Job
Deliver comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients, including high-risk antepartum cases Circulate in the OR for C-sections (3 OR suites on unit) Monitor and titrate Pitocin and insulin drips per hospital protocols Collaborate with OB Laborists, Neonatologists, CRNAs, and CSTs for optimal patient outcomes Perform initial neonatal resuscitation (NRP) until NICU team arrives Float to other units and hospitals (Meridian, Nampa) and provide clinical support as needed Document patient care using Epic EMR and Centricity Perinatal-GE EFM system Follow AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios and best practices in maternal care
