Assistant Engineer II Water/Wastewater

Hazen is seeking a self-motivated engineer to join us in our Saratoga Springs, NY office who enjoys teamwork and collaboration, technical challenges, and solving our client's most difficult problems. You will be supported by multiple mentors throughout the Northeast and local office leadership.

Working closely with a design team from initial studies and conceptual design through construction. Working on water and wastewater projects, related to municipal facilities and infrastructure. Preparing engineering specifications, data sheets, sketches, drawings and performing engineering calculations. Review contractor shop drawing submittals and RFIs. Performing field work and site visits from design through construction. Required Qualifications:
B.S. degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical or related engineering discipline. EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months. 2 to 8 years of experience Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills Proficient in all computer software typically used (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) Preferred Qualifications:
M.S. degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical or related engineering discipline. Proficient in CAD/BIM and GIS What We Offer:
