SGC Engineering is seeking a motivated

Entry-Level Electrical Engineer

Compensation:

$75,000 - $120,000 per year depending your skills and years of experience

Assist in

engineering services

related to automation, control, and communication systems. Develop and configure

HMI screens, managed switches, and LAN systems . Support the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of

SCADA and automation systems . Learn and apply cybersecurity standards for

critical infrastructure projects . Collaborate with senior engineers on

project planning, scope development, and execution . Participate in

client meetings, site visits, and field inspections

to gain hands-on industry exposure. What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

(Engineering Technology graduates welcome!). 0-3 years of relevant experience (internships and co-ops count!). Strong

problem-solving and analytical skills . Interest in

renewable energy, automation, and utility projects . Familiarity with

GE, Siemens, ABB, SEL, or similar automation software

(preferred but not required). Ability to interpret

schematics, control logic, and device programming . Eagerness to

learn, adapt, and work in a team-driven environment . Successful completion of the

Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam

is a plus.
