Transport Refrigeration Engineer\n\nNorthampton \n\nSalary: £38,000 (OTE £55,000 - £60,000)\n\nWe are looking for a skilled Transport Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. The role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing transport refrigeration systems while ensuring reliability and customer satisfaction.\n\nKey Duties\n\nCarry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on refrigeration equipment\nDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control fault\nService units, including hydrocarbon and A2L systems\nRespond to breakdowns and perform routine servicing\nMaintain van stock to agreed levels\nRecord equipment history and complete documentation\nWork to company, manufacturer, and compliance standards\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships\nFollow Health & Safety and site procedureRequirements\n\nMinimum 3 years' experience in transport refrigeration (essential)\nNVQ Level 3 City & Guilds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (desirable)\nFGAS Refrigerant Handling - City & Guilds 2079 (desirable)\nKnowledge of compressor technologies and A2L systems\nUnderstanding of UK and international regulations\nIT literate (Word, Excel, Outlook); ERP/SAP experience\nFull UK driving licencePersonal Attributes\n\nStrong organisation and time management\nClear written and verbal communication\nSelf-motivated and reliable\nAble to work independently and as part of a team\nProfessional and trustworthyIf you feel like you meet the above criteria & would like to be considered for the Transport Refrigeration Engineer position, please apply with your CV and contact Lauren at Prime Appointments for a confidential chat.\n\n#Tier1
