Primary Objective
To supervise a park shelter and outdoor ice rink, enforce park & skating rules, provide customer service, maintain cleanliness, and complete other duties as assigned. Warming house attendant responsibilities include supervision of park shelter and outdoor ice rinks, enforcement of park & skating rules, interacting with and helping skaters, recording daily skating attendance, treating injuries to skaters and requesting emergency assistance, completing injury reports, preparing monthly work schedules with assigned partner and performing basic building maintenance such as sweeping floors and shoveling walkways. Minimum/Desirable Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
You must be able to pass a background check to be considered for employment. Must be 16 years or older You must have the ability to be able to shovel snow off of walkways and ice rinks
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Basic first aid training preferred, but not required. Previous experience in supervising skating rinks or other recreation activities, such as playground leader, camp counselor, youth athletics coaching, etc., is preferred.
Supplemental Information
Employment dates are tentatively from Monday, December 8, 2025 through Friday, February 13, 2026, weather permitting. Shelter buildings are scheduled to be open Daily: Monday through Thursday 4-8 pm, Friday 4-9 pm, Saturdays from 10am-9pm and Sundays from 12pm-8pm. One person is assigned to each shift, working approximately 20-30 hours per week. Substitute/on-call positions are also available. Commitment Bonus - A seasonal employee who works until at least February 13th will receive $100 bonus on their final paycheck.
Referral Bonus - A seasonal employee who refers a new seasonal employee will receive $100 bonus on their final paycheck. Referral paperwork required within one week of employees start date and both employees must be employed for the entirety of the scheduled season to be eligible. SUPERVISION OF OTHERS
This position does not supervises others. Anticipated Hiring Range:
