Our client, a leading logistics and manufacturing organization, is seeking a Facility & Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facility & Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence and facility integrity. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:
Maintenance Technician
Location: Milford, CT
Pay Range:
$26 - $31/hour based on prior experience
Shift:
7:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
What's the Job?
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on complex machinery such as conveyor systems, HVAC equipment, scanners, and industrial doors
Maintain and repair production and facility equipment, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical failures within material handling systems
Manage building utilities, security systems, and key card access interfaces
Support safety compliance initiatives and participate in facility upgrades and automation installations
What's Needed?
At least 4 years of experience in general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Professional certifications in electrical, HVAC, or plumbing are preferred
Ability to read electrical schematics and manuals, and troubleshoot electrical control issues
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with tools and machinery
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
