Our client, a leading player in electronic trading, is seeking an experienced
Trading Product Support Analyst
to join their front-office support team. This role is ideal for a technically skilled and service-driven professional with a background in equity markets, algorithmic trading, and FIX connectivity. A successful candidate will work directly with traders, quants, sales teams, and developers, translating business needs into technical solutions. You'll be part of a dynamic and evolving environment, supporting critical electronic trading systems and contributing to long-term platform stability and improvement. Key Responsibilities
Provide front-line support for trading applications, including order routing, trade flow, and post-trade processes. Troubleshoot issues across FIX, Linux, databases (SQL/Oracle), and networks. Handle client and internal requests, escalating to development teams where needed. Perform daily health checks and participate in a global follow-the-sun support model. Manage and prioritize incoming requests via mailboxes and ticket queues. Contribute to testing, incident management, and system upgrades. Required Experience
3-5 years of application support in an electronic trading environment. Strong working knowledge of FIX protocol and equities market structure (US/Canada). Solid Linux expertise and SQL/Oracle database skills. Proven experience with algorithmic trading strategies (VWAP, TWAP, IS, POV). Understanding of OMS/EMS workflows and network troubleshooting. Experience in Windows Server environments. Preferred Skills
Scripting (Python, Bash, Perl, PowerShell). Exposure to DevOps tools (Ansible, Puppet). Experience with monitoring tools (ITRS, Prometheus, ELK). Familiarity with Solace, Tibco, MQ, and ServiceNow. Cloud exposure (AWS) and Control-M experience. Prior involvement in FIX onboarding and message-based architectures.
Compensation: $100,000 - 120,000 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
