Avid Core is seeking a Real Estate Outreach Specialist with experience in real estate planning and landowner outreach for a federal government client.

Salary Range: $85,000-$120,000, based on experience and qualifications.
Overall Responsibilities:
Support planning and execution of large infrastructure projects Oversee the development of landowner outreach material to support infrastructure projects Track and maintain landowner parcel information based on specific projects and geographic locations Perform work involving the acquisition of real estate by purchase, lease, exchange, or donation Provide expert level realty and portfolio management, planning, analysis, execution, and guidance to program staff on problems or technical issues Coordinate with the real estate planning team for acquisition, appraisal, administration, surveying, inspecting, and negotiations Review programs and processes to assess effectiveness, identify existing or potential problems, resolve and remedy circumstances before problems occur, and modify processes to improve products, procedures, and programs Develop and maintain real estate landowner outreach schedule for multiple large infrastructure projects, to include key milestone dates, deadlines, meetings, discussions, etc. Schedule and attend meetings and prepare talking points and after-action reports detailing the meeting notes and action items Maintain a list of tracked action items and assist with the closure of those items Participate in project execution and construction calls to document landowner stakeholder coordination actions Review Geographic Information Systems and provide technical input and strategic approaches to support real estate planning and execution Manage contractors that provide the following services:
Feasibility Analysis and Modeling
Advanced spatial and feasibility analyses, including: Suitability analysis Proximity and buffer analysis Public and private utility accessibility Terrain and hydrological analysis Geospatial reports and presentations summarizing findings
Maintain project documentation files and track points of contact, and key activities Develop weekly and monthly progress reports detailing key project activities Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Skills:
5+ years of experience of communications or real estate experience supporting a Federal Agency Experience supporting landowner outreach or real estate planning and acquisition is required. Experience with federal clients is required. Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) desired. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel is a must; and Power BI tools is a plus. Experience with large infrastructure projects and real estate planning along the southern border is a plus. Ability to obtain a public trust clearance. We're looking for someone who is:
Able to manage multiple high-priority tasks. Willingness to travel, communicate, and maintain positive interactions with landowners along the southern border communities. Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment. Able to manage and follow up on deadlines, as well as to identify and recommend solutions and next steps. Fun and energetic. Top Secret/Secret clearance desired Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Communication, or Real Estate, or equivalent Benefits:

Location:
The position is remote; however, the candidate must be able to regularly commute to the client location in Washington, DC for ad-hoc project meetings and routine mailing. Up to 50% of travel may be required for landowner/community meetings along the southern border.
