Do you enjoy developing or designing outreach materials? Do you have experience supporting stakeholder engagement efforts for federal government programs? Avid Core is seeking a Communications Specialist with strong communications and project management experience to support a federal government client in Washington D.C. We’re looking for a detail oriented, organized person interested in supporting a federal law enforcement agency. Work Arrangement
The position offers hybrid work flexibility, working from a home location and client location with the expectation of attending meetings at the Avid Core office or client site in Washington D.C. as required. How to Apply

Salary Range: $55,000-$85,000 based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities
Support the client in developing and maintaining partnership with key stakeholders such as federal agencies and land managers, Tribal governments, nongovernmental organizations, state agencies, local municipalities, landowners, among others Design and implement comprehensive outreach and stakeholder engagement strategies in support of the real estate and environmental planning phases of large infrastructure projects Create and distribute consultation outreach materials to gather input from interested stakeholders for large infrastructure projects Develop informational graphics, images, and presentations Maintain website content using Drupal Plan, organize, and execute outreach and stakeholder engagement events including webinars, community meetings, among others Manage logistics, coordinate with vendors as needed Produce clear and digestible content for various channels including letters, emails, newsletters, websites, and other print materials Maintain consistent messaging and adapt materials to adhere to federal agency branding guidelines Prepare regular reports on outreach activities, outcomes, and recommendations for improvement Facilitate communication and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with external stakeholders is consistent Attend stakeholder meetings, draft after action reports, and track action items as needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Skills
Three (3)+ years of communications, outreach, and/or stakeholder engagement experience supporting the federal government Strong ability to manage multiple projects Proficiency with the full Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint) Exceptional editing and data analysis skills to ensure deliverables submitted to the client for final approval are error-free Experience with WebEx, Zoom, and other virtual meeting platforms Ability to obtain a public trust security clearance We’re looking for someone who is
Interested in working with federal law enforcement Able to manage multiple high-priority tasks Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment Able to manage and follow up on deadlines, as well as to identify and recommend solutions and next steps Fun and energetic Top Secret/Secret clearance desired Education
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, marketing, graphic design or similar field Benefits
