As a member of the
Varsity Spirit
team, the Supervisor - Warehouse has a key leadership role and is responsible for providing a safe environment, developing, and coaching all team members, and collaborating with teams across the organization to achieve KPIs that result in outstanding service for our coaches and student athletes. As the Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for producing results in the assigned area and shifts, you will lead approximately a team of 10 employees. Supervisor - Warehouse is responsible for driving inventory and order accuracy for on-time delivery of garments to external and internal sources within their assigned area.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Professional written and verbal communication and listening skills. Solution oriented and change management minded. Commitment to a continuous improvement environment Collaborate with peers for team and Operational success. Computer literate with knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Able to multitask and juggle competing priorities. Flexibility to work varying shifts in support of the operation. QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES
Previous experience in a leadership role Experience with SAP is a plus. LEAN/process/continuous improvement concepts and principles, including creating GEMBA metrics. EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in any field and/or 2-5 years' experience in warehouse setting 1 - 2 years' experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus Proficient with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience with Microsoft Excel A reliable team member that employees can count on every day to be punctual Operational, Warehouse, Logistics or comparable experience preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
