The College of Arts Science & Education is currently seeking a Temporary IT Generalist to join their team of professionals. Duties include: Installing, maintaining, and monitoring software in a client/server environment. Providing desktop support to faculty, staff, and students for the College of Arts & Sciences. Performing routine diagnostics to isolate causes of system failures. Making minor computer repairs. Ensuring a high quality of work and that customer service objectives are met. Accurately enter and update technical information and support documentation in relevant systems to maintain organized records. Job Category
Temporary Desired Qualifications
Requires prior completion of FIU Service Excellence training or completion within first 30 days. Ability to work in a team setting. Ability to take direction and work independently as needed. Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with highly sensitive information. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience in the field; or technical certification or associated degree. Work Schedule
Monday-Friday. Advertised Salary
