Were seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to oversee early childhood programs across multiple sites in South Dakota. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating safe, engaging, and developmentally rich environments for young children while leading teams to deliver high-quality programming. You will play a key role in shaping program operations, staffing, and long-term strategy, making a direct impact on children, families, and the broader community. Responsibilities Lead and manage daily operations across multiple early childhood sites, ensuring consistency and quality. Supervise site leaders and program specialists, providing mentorship and guidance. Ensure programs comply with all licensing requirements and best practices. Support the development and implementation of curriculum aligned with early learning standards. Manage budgets, staffing, and resource allocation across sites. Foster strong relationships with families, staff, and community partners. Promote inclusive, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed practices. Monitor program outcomes and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Represent the organization in regional early childhood initiatives and community partnerships.

Must-Have Skills

5+ years in early childhood education or childcare leadership, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Proven experience overseeing licensed early childhood programs or multiple sites. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor staff and maintain operational standards. Knowledge of early childhood development, curriculum, and regulatory compliance. Ability to travel between sites regularly and manage operations across locations.

Nice to Have Skills

Experience with program expansion or multi-site growth initiatives. Background working with diverse or dual-language communities. Masters degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. Familiarity with trauma-informed care and culturally inclusive programming.
